Salena Dorr

I have been blessed to call Picayune home my entire life. My husband and I have been married for 42 years, and together we have raised 4 children, welcomed 14 grandchildren, and now delight in 3 wonderful great-grandchildren. Serving my church and community has always been a part of who I am, and I am grateful for every opportunity to give back and make a difference.

For the past year, I have had the joy of serving as the Congregate Meal Coordinator at the Senior Center. I find my work incredibly rewarding—whether it’s watching seniors enjoy their time together, seeing their excitement during activities like Bean Bag Baseball, or, most of all, getting the chance to spoil them a little every day.
